Welcome to My World

Greene Contemporary has an exhibition entitled “Welcome to My World” with work by Kevin Cyr, Andrew Junge, Billy Maker, Shawn Patterson, and Jean-Pierre Roy. Their works are “inspired by imagination to reinvent personal experiences, cultural identity, and fantasies into a visual language. The ad combination of references and materials invites the viewer to enter both miniature and grandiose imaginary environments and situation, setting off on a journey of their own.” Check out the Pandora’s Box series, it’s probably my favorite of the exhibition. The opening reception will begin tonight.

   It closes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. It opens 12-6pm on Thursday-Sunday. Just in case you go to the exhibition and you are not able to see it.
