We offer a full spectrum of both standard and custom amenities to meet the needs of our resident artists. Our in-house construction and metalsmith team can accommodate just about any request to suit each artist’s needs.
Events*
Throughout the year, Mana Contemporary hosts several high-profile events in which tenants are invited to participate, such as group openings and studio tours. These events attract crowds ranging from hundreds to thousands of art enthusiasts, gallerists, curators, collectors and members of the press.
Open Studios
Several times a year, Mana Contemporary artists are asked to participate in open studios, opening their doors to the public for viewing. These events are a prime opportunity to expose your work to gallerists, curators, collectors, members of the press and the community at large. Open studios are also a core part of our philosophy at Mana Contemporary–that art in progress can be just as exciting as the finished product.
Café
Mana Contemporary offers a cafe at each location to serve as a hub for artists, art collectors, clients and visitors alike. The cafes offer sandwiches, salads, pastries, coffee and soft drinks.
Chicago
Chicago has a thriving and diverse artists community, particularly in the Loop Community surrounding the exceptional Art Institute of Chicago and Anish Kapoor’s “Cloud Gate” public sculpture in Millennium Park. Annual events such as Art Chicago and NEXT ensure the city’s place on the contemporary art world’s radar.

Jersey City
Our Jersey City location draws artists from Greater New York City who find that our studios provide more space and light than they can find elsewhere. In addition, we have created a cultural haven within our walls in support of the arts, from modern dance to fashion photography.
The Jersey City artist community is the third-largest in the Tri-State area behind Manhattan and Brooklyn, and is continuing to grow as an artists’ hub. Located in the heart of Jersey City, we are only a 20-minute drive from Manhattan and a 10-minute walk from the PATH train Journal Square station.
