Climate and light control are vital for preservation. Artwork subjected to environmental extremes will suffer. In order to maintain a standard for preservation, we have recently completed construction of a brand new climate-controlled storage gallery, maintaining a temperature at 70 degrees Fahrenheit (+/- 3 degrees) with 50% relative humidity (+/- 3%) year round.

Temperature and humidity monitors are overseen digitally and recorded by a central control center, with regularly scheduled, contracted maintenance. To prevent light damage, all art storage areas are free of natural light and windows, employing UV filtered fluorescent lighting.
